UConn Formula SAE

CAD design and collaborative vehicle development.

Since September 2025, I have contributed to UConn Formula SAE by creating detailed CAD layouts and supporting engineering projects. The work requires clear communication, teamwork, and attention to design details while working toward shared deadlines.

CAD design

Use CAD software to create detailed design layouts and support vehicle engineering work.

CFD Analysis

Modeling flow through intake and exhaust pipes.

Manufacturing

Created and tested machined components designed to be fit and put into the car.

Projects

E85 Swap

This year Me and another member are leading a project to swap to E85 fuel this year compared to regular pump fuel. We are currently in the researching stage but are making worthwhile progress towards our goal of at least getting an E85 setup on our in house Dyno.

Fuel Rail

For this project, we have to Create a more reliable way to keep the fuel rail pressed into the injectors. There have been many instances where the fuel rail wasn't fully pressed in and fuel spilled everywhere when the engine started.

Exhaust

Rerouting the exhaust exit rearward (currently facing forward). Hoping to make symmetrical sidepods as a result.

Remodeling and manufacturing the J-pipe that connect the muffler to the headers out of titanium.
